Christmas Angel

Kennedy was asked to participate in Aunt T's church Christmas pageant this past Sunday. Her acting part went really well this time as she portrayed an angel in the pageant! That is definitely no easy task for this busy 3 year old! Aunt T said she behaved very well but was very concerned as to why she couldn't play with the baby Jesus doll while they were on stage!
We think she made a really cute little angel. It has been really fun this year as she has been learning all about Christmas and the miracle of baby Jesus, we can't wait for Christmas day to get here, it seems to be more fun the older she gets!

Our little director...

What a crazy Christmas season this has been, between shopping, working, parties and programs, this month has flown by. It sure has been so much fun though!

Our little girl has been quite the actress (or shall I say director) lately. Her preschool does an annual Christmas program and she actually had a part this year! Each of the 3 year olds had a letter they wore around their neck that all together spelled out Merry Christmas. Along with each child's letter they each had a small phrase that went along with it. Kennedy was the letter H and we rehearsed her line for weeks to prepare for the program...H is for the hay that baby Jesus slept on. She had it down pat!

The program day arrives and she is dressed in her cutest Christmas pajamas (as all the children were)! The whole family arrives to watch her performance and we strategically sit three rows back in the dark audience hoping that we were close enough for good pictures but far enough back that K would not see us. Well that didn't work too well! As soon as she came out on stage she spotted me and jumped off the stage to come sit with us, so they were missing their H on stage. She then pretty much stole the show!! She ran to the front of the audience, stood by the teacher that was sitting on the floor coaching the other kids through their lines, and turned into the program director. She had her hands going and even yelled at one of the children to sing louder! I told you she was bossy! All in all it was really cute and we're thinking she might be a band director one day. We're actually aiming for a movie producer! Then maybe she could support dear old mom and dad!
